Thank you for showing an interest in applying for a position at our school. Welcome to Kennall Vale School – a small village Primary school serving Ponsanooth near Truro. We are on the A393 Redruth – Falmouth road, close to the Kennall Vale Nature reserve, a picturesque river valley containing the remains of Kennall Vale Gunpowder Works. Kennall Vale School opened in new, purpose built premises in 1993 and, since then, has been extended and completely refurbished. The school has 5 classrooms, and at present 132 pupils on roll organised into mixed-age classes. Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, together with Kennall Vale School, are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed Class Teacher to work as part of our team. The real strength of the school lies in the people; staff, children, parents and Local Monitoring Committee members are proud of our school and work hard to provide a caring and stimulating environment for learning.
