Test Technician Department: Assembly, Integration & Test: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Redondo Beach: Compensation: $30.00 - $45.00 / hour Description: As a Test Technician at Impulse , you will perform a wide range of spacecraft component and assembly testing while developing and maintaining state-of-the-art test equipment. Responsibilities: - Fabricate, assemble and maintain test equipment - Perform extensive testing on a variety of test equipment including pressure and propellant systems, combustion devices, vibration tables, thermal chambers and vacuum chambers - Perform calibration activities for automated acceptance testing equipment - Work with designers, engineers and other technicians to improve test processes and throughput - Provide training and guidance to other technicians Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalency certificate - 3+ years of professional experience in aerospace or other relevant operations or test environment - Experience with the safe operation of pressure, electrical, power and data acquisition systems - Proficient with basic fabrication tools and processes (electric/pneumatic power tools, tube bending, machining, welding, e...
