The Opportunity: Avantor is seeking an Operator at our Nusil site. This role will be a full-time position based in Carpinteria, CA. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with a diverse team in a phenomenal environment. NuSil is involved in healthcare, aerospace, and biotech industries. What we’re looking for: Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. Experience: 1-2 years of work in packaging or distribution. Certification(s): None required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a chemical plant. Understanding/familiarity with cGMP and RCRA training. How you will thrive and create an impact Conduct safety precautions. Responsible for ensuring the lines are set up and running according to the production schedule in accordance with work orders. Understand line and pump configuration and be able to clean and inspect lines as well as perform line changeovers as needed.
