Location: 1194 Scott St SE, Conyers, GA 30012, USA,, Position Information: Department: Police: Job Description Summary: This s a law enforcement officer that works in the Police Department Training Unit. This position will consist of assisting the Department Training Officer, DTO, Work is performed under the supervision of the Department Training Lieutenant with the essential and training needs for the Police Department · Assist in planning, scheduling, and conducting training activities for the department. · Document and maintain accurate records of all training provided. · Prepare and submit reports related to training programs. · Support the Department Training Officer in meeting departmental training requirements. Minimum Education & Experience: Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a sworn full time Georgia P.O.S.T. council certified Peace Officer with the City of Conyers Police Department; OR employed for five(5) years as a sworn full-time Georgia P.O.S.T.
