Job Summary: Assists with the management of patient/athlete visits within the clinic performing a range of clinical responsibilities in support of the physicians. Participates in community outreach and conducts presentations on a variety of Athletic Training Topics. Oversees Student Athletic Trainers and/or Intern Athletic Trainers and mentors new staff members. Provides athletic training services at sporting events and community events. Interaction and management of patient visit within clinic for physician. Interacts regularly with patients and others involved in the patient/athlete's care to incorporate an interdisciplinary treatment approach for coordinated quality care. Obtains initial patient history, vital signs, and/or follow up status and presents to physician in preparation for their exam of patient/athlete.
