Job Family: Patient Access General Travel Required: Up to 10% Clearance Required: None What You Will Do: Under the supervision of the Director of Patient Access, the PA Trainer is responsible for the preparation, training, and evaluation for users in all areas of Patient Access. This position will also be responsible for performing and maintaining the quality assurance process for the department. Maintains responsibility for training and continuing education of Patient Access staff on operational policies and procedures, third party requirements and regulatory compliance changes. Identifies and assesses training needs within the Patient Access Department. Performs periodic quality and accuracy reviews of staff performance to identify individual retraining needs as well as departmental training opportunities. Develops and maintains all training materials including the construction of binders, course books and any relevant job aids that facilitate the training process. Responsible performing quality assurance audits for the purpose of monitoring the accuracy of patient registration system transactions.
