About the Job: We are looking for a CA or CPA-qualified accountant with around five years of experience to join our Sydney finance team. This is a newly created role and a broad, hands-on position covering day-to-day accounting, statutory reporting, and tax compliance. You will work closely with the local finance team and gain genuine exposure to digital asset accounting in a regulated, fast-moving environment. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the fintech or crypto sector. Your responsibilities will include: - Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of working papers - Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and manage the fixed asset register - Support the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with AASB / IFRS - Assist with BAS, GST, FBT, and income tax compliance in coordination with external tax advisors - Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of fiat and digital asset accounts - Assist with the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and preparing audit support schedules - Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processe...
