Additional responsibilities may include: Proficiency in operating bone density scanner and accurately analyzing results, performing High Rise Standing CT scans, a dministration of contrast agents or dyes, under supervision of Radiologist, as required for certain imaging procedures, p erforming sterile technique to set up a variety of musculo-sketal, urology, and neurology procedures. Graduated from an accredited Radiography program. Associates degree and one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred. - Produces high quality images for the Diagnostic Imaging department, we well as assigned areas including the operating department, pain management, and the gastrointestinal department that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Department. - Completes records, information, and performs electronic entry accurately. - Identifies patients using two patient identifiers, verifies order, and analyzes exam information. - Demonstrates knowledge of anatomy, body habitus, and proper patient positioning for various imaging studies - Utilizes resources available to achieve optimum exam. - Consistently applies correct identification and labeling of images and/o...
