QualificationsESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and support shelter staff during assigned shifts, ensuring coverage and adherence to policies. Monitor shelter environment for safety, security, and resident well-being. Serve as the on-duty point of contact for staff, residents, and visitors. Coordinate unit schedules, shift changes, and staff assignments as directed by Shelter Manager. Provide guidance and support to residents in navigating shelter routines and services. Respond to resident concerns, grievances, and behavioral issues with fairness and consistency. Support case managers and peer specialists by reinforcing housing and recovery goals with residents.
