Job Details Physician Office | Beavercreek | Full-Time | Varied Shift Responsibilities & Requirements: Under the direction of the provider and/or practice manager, assists and delivers patient care duties, and provides administrative support and supervision throughout the practice. This position assists the provider in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of provider. This position also interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information in patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. The position will be cross-trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of delivery of patient care Provides input on performance evaluations. - Patient care duties include: preparing patients and exam rooms for provider consultation, taking medical history and vitals, scheduling appointments (e.g. lab, x-ray), explaining processes, assisting providers in special procedures (including minor surgery), remove sutures, clean wounds, apply dressings, notify patients of lab results, give shots and immunizations, ongoing patient observation prior to, during, and following administratio...
