There are multiple positions with the Yakima County Public Services-Solid Waste Division. This position operates a Class 8 truck with tandem drive, drop axle and 5th wheel pulling a 48-foot tri-axle walking floor transfer trailer for the purpose of transporting refuse from the transfer station to the landfill. Performs daily start up inspection, operational checks, and routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
