Here at UPP we have an opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant to work as part of our team in providing both a planned and responsive maintenance service to join our team to provide a planned and responsive maintenance service, specialising in building fabric repairs. This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week on a 10 week rolling rota covering two weekends out of ten. The salary is £26,747.00 per annum. Must hold a current valid driving licence. Role responsibilities as a Maintenance Assistant include: - Carry out reactive maintenance in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and provide front line response - Ensure that the environment is maintained in accordance with the SLA, including keeping the site clean band clear throughout the tear - Assist with the moving of refuse, white goods, mattresses, and furniture in a safe manner - Assist with statutory testing including fire alarm testing, fire extinguisher, fire blanket and fire detector checks, water temperature monitoring, shower head cleaning and emergency lighting checks - Report any Health and Safety issues relating to the residence ensuring all information is passed to the relevant Manager(s) Role...
