Supplier Quality Engineer

Job description

Vertiv is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Pelzer, SC, to lead and oversee the quality of supplied material and ensure compliance with industry standards and production requirements. This role will be the main point of contact between the production sites and suppliers to resolve issues in timely manner to avoid production delays. Overview: The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for ensuring that all supplied components and materials meet quality standards and specifications required for production. This role serves as the primary liaison between the plant and suppliers, focusing on quality assurance and problem resolution. The SQE works closely with internal teams such as Manufacturing, Engineering, and Corporate Supplier Quality to maintain supplier performance and drive corrective actions when necessary.
