Job description

This position cooks all food orders, in a quick, timely and accurate manner. Processes cash/comp/coupon/credit card transactions for ‘ritas Taco Truck guests. - Prepares and produces menu items to standards in a quick and efficient manner. - Greets customers and processes cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary change, while presenting a receipt to the customer. - Cleans register and Taco Truck areas, including counter tops, sinks, display shelves, tables, storage areas and lounge areas at assigned station. - Prepares items such as but not limited to salads, tacos, burritos, etc. - Prepares, cooks, and seasons all food. - Must show knife skills and properly assemble all guests’ orders. - Controls food production in all work areas including proper cooking methods, proper cooking times and temperature. - Adheres to kitchen maintenance and sanitation programs. - Maintains assigned station and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. - One-year prior experience as a cook or cooks’ helper preferred. - Must have at least three months previous money handling and cash register experience. - Previous working knowledge of point of sales system preferred. - Must be able...
