Job Description: Position Description: ***Applicants are permitted to work remotely from an at-home work site anywhere in the United States.*** Programs testable and maintainable software solutions within Cloud computing environments and applications -- Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), using Java/J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot. Designs and develops database schema, PL/SQLs, stored procedures, and transactional SQL within Oracle databases. Creates and improves REST API and implements Microservices -- Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2 and Hibernate). Leverages DevOps concepts and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools -- GitHub and Jenkins. Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.
