Job Description Summary: According to established policies and procedures, relays incoming and outgoing telephone calls, and operates public address or paging system. Responds to codes and alarms by notifying appropriate personnel. Types messages, and maintains related files and records. Responsibilities And Duties: Answers ACD telephone system for multiple OhiohHealth hospitals, using Amtelco, a PC based console program. Directs callers to proper area/ person or departments as requested. Answers patient information calls and transfers as appropriate. 50% Initiates emergency pages and announcements via the pocket paging system and overhead public address system. 5% Answers emergency Code Phone and is solely responsible for contacting medical/support personnel for the following emergencies: Code Blues, Traumas, Code Assists...
