Manager, Professional Services Coding & Charge Capture

Please note: This posiiton is remote for WASHINGTON STATE ONLY. This leadership role is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Professional Coding and Charge Capture Department. This role leads work to ensure that professional services charge capture integrity, diagnosis coding, CPT coding, and documentation standards and processes align to maximize the quality and accuracy of professional services revenue capture. The manager role provides leadership and direction to coding supervisors and leads responsible for recruiting, training, auditing and developing coding staff, and is often called upon as the primary resource to assess coding workflow system functionality, optimization, and upgrades. Frequent collaboration between hospital billing practice and physician practice plan leaders is expected to promote consistency and alignment in the application of national coding guidelines and rules, or reasoned justification and documentation for differences.
