Shift: 8HR Days Job type: Per Diem: GENERAL DUTIES: Coordination of all operational activities of medical physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Provides the leadership necessary to maintain quality patient care services requiring progressive, technologically advanced procedures. Directs and supervises the department’s Quality Assurance Program to ensure that departmental equipment and procedures satisfy any requisite TJC, State, County or Federal Regulation (e.g. Title 17, Title 22, 10CFR20). To serve as the Radiation Safety Officer for the ComprehensiveCancer Center. To actively participate in the Medical Center Radiation Safety Committee, the Comprehensive CancerCenter quality assurance activities and Safety Committees.
