Description Purpose: The Educational Empowerment Group is seeking candidates to fill the position of Construction/Carpentry Instructor for the Ohio Construction Academy (OCA) located in Columbus, Ohio. OCA was created in 2013 by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) organization to help meet the employment needs and shortages within the building trades industry. We are facing a national crisis with the lack of viable employees within our trades organizations. OFE is designed to meet that crisis by producing the next generation of trades specialists. This public school of choice has three major goals: get every student their high school diploma, prepare them with the appropriate trade skills to enter an apprenticeship program with a reputable company, and prepare them socially to meet the challenges of the ever-changing work place.
