Position Highlights: SUMMARY: The REC/SDS RN provides professional nursing services in the assessment, treatment and care of patients in the Same Day Surgery department. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Bachelor’s or BSN degree from a four-year college or university school of nursing preferred. Minimum of 1-year clinical experience preferred. Bi-lingual experience preferred but not required. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and/or REGISTRATIONS: - Licensed as a registered nurse in Iowa and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required. - Iowa Mandatory Reporter training within three months of employment. - BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
