What’s the role? Westpac’s Gold Coast Engineering Hub is growing, and we’re inviting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander early‑career engineers to join our Next Wave intake starting April 2026 . Next Wave is a cohort‑style programme where you’ll be a permanent Westpac employee from day one — learning on the job while building digital products used by millions of customers. You’ll be supported with structured onboarding, technical training, mentoring , and a strong peer network so you can grow your skills and confidence quickly. This is a full‑time, permanent role based in Surfers Paradise on Yugambeh Country , with 5 days on‑site during onboarding , moving to a hybrid way of working once you’re settled.
