Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, or "CRMC", is a 25-bed, non-profit, critical access hospital serving Southeast Kansas and Northeast Oklahoma since 1949. The Patient Registration Clerk registers and pre-registers patients for hospital and clinic services. S/he obtains demographic, financial, pre-certification or authorization information. JOB DUTIES: The Patient Registration Clerk assumes other responsibilities as assigned. - Provide prompt and accurate service to promote high standards and quality - Collect deductibles, co-insurance and non-covered charges as outlined by policy - Answer incoming calls and visits regarding patient accounts; explains financial policies to patients - Research account issues; correct and/or initiate correction of errors - Initiate outgoing telephone contact with patients for payments and payment arrangements - Assist registration and medical records as necessary - Prepare standard registration/admission forms for patients...
