Job Description Summary Within the Department of Psychiatry this Database Administrator IlI position will be responsible for the professional services associated with continuous quality improvement of databases to include data collection, data monitoring and cleaning, report development and data visualization, and analysis for projects related to maternal and child health in North and South Carolina. This position will collaborate with various members of the MUSC Psychiatry and Telehealth teams as well as participating OB/GYN clinics and hospital systems across the Carolinas. These services include monitoring, maintaining, and supporting database design; as well as request intake management, data collection, EHR abstraction, data monitoring, data analysis, report writing, and administrative duties. This position will also be responsible for ensuring secure, HIPAA-compliant transfer and storage of all data, as well as taking the lead on any pertinent Institutional Review Board, Honest Broker, or other regulatory interactions related to data acquisition and analysis.
