Position Status: Full time Shift: First Shift (Days - Less than 12 hours per shift) (United States of America) Hours per week: 40 Job Information Exemption Status: Non-Exempt A Brief Overview: Women's Health OB/GYN nursing is a specialty within the nursing profession that encompasses the care of individuals across the life span who present with physical, emotional, or psychological alterations of health. Women's Health nurses provide episodic and chronic nursing care to patients in an ambulatory setting to include assessing patients, administering medication and vaccinations, coordinating testing and consultations, and providing education to patients and their families. The delivery of professional nursing care at Stormont Vail Health is guided by Jean Watson's Theory of Human Caring and the theory of Shared governance, both of which are congruent with the mission, vision, and values of the organization Experience Qualifications: Experience in a clinic setting.
