Director of Engineering, Platform & DevOps

The Opportunity We’re seeking a Director of Engineering to lead our Platform & DevOps organization. You will define the platform strategy and oversee a large team delivering secure, reliable, cost-efficient, developer-friendly platforms: CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes/EKS, observability, and security-by-default. You’ll set multi-quarter roadmaps and OKRs, own budgets and vendor relationships, and partner closely with Product, Security, Data, and DevOps leadership to create paved roads that accelerate the entire engineering org. Responsibilities: Org Leadership & Talent: Build and lead a large team organization (tech leads and engineers); attract, develop, and retain top talent. Define career ladders, succession plans, and healthy on-call practices; ensure sustainable delivery and team health. Champion a culture of ownership, inclusion, and continuous improvement (blameless postmortems, strategic retention). Strategy, Portfolio & Governance: Own the Platform & DevOps strategy and multi-quarter roadmap; align to company goals and product timelines.
