Job Description THIS POSITION HAS FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES: POSITION SUMMARY: The Mold Tech will report to the Shift Supervisor any special instructions to ensure production is operating and quality standards are being maintained. The Mold Tech will lead by example and will perform supervisory tasks such as designating Packer / Handlers and other team members to proper locations to meet production schedules. In performing these responsibilities, associates are to work safety, efficiently, and cooperatively in a manner that demonstrates team member involvement. The Mold Tech works with the Shift Supervisor to operate, troubleshoot, document, and communicate on all equipment that is not performing within specifications. KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Set up machines for operation, change material and color to meet production schedules 2. Must have a technical understanding of process and raw materials used. 3. Keep supervisor/management informed of all problems. 4. Start up machines and monitor quality at start up. 5.
