JOB SUMMARY: The Distribution Project Manager will lead and coordinate the efforts of the Distribution companion projects of transmission capital projects within Georgia. This role involves leading the aspects of project management to ensure successful project delivery, high standards of quality, and stakeholder satisfaction. Additionally, the Distribution Project Manager will be working as a liaison between Georgia Power Distribution Engineering, PMO Project Managers, PMO Assistant and Project Managers (APMs). JOB REQUIREMENTS: Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field is preferred. - PE Certification a plus. - Preferred Certifications include Project Management Professional or other related project management certifications. - Experience with project management experience is a plus. - Experience in the electric utility industry is preferred. - Transmission systems or distribution / field operations experience preferred.
