Production Supervisor

Job description

This is how you WOW: Production & Operations Management Review production orders and schedules to plan department operations based on product data, quantities, and delivery dates. Coordinate assembly activities and prepare operational schedules to meet product specifications and quality goals. Analyze operating reports and resolve maintenance or operational issues to minimize costs and prevent delays. Ensure efficient utilization of materials and eliminate wasteful practices to maintain economical operations. Interface with cross-functional departments to ensure all customer order deadlines are met. Process Improvement & Quality: Develop and revise standard operational procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and best practices. Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. Assist the Production Manager with continuous improvement initiatives, including 5s and FIFO implementation. Suggest changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase efficiency and improve ergonomics.
