Description: Emory University Department of Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking a motivated, PMR-qualified physician to lead an academic inpatient rehab team caring primarily for neurologically diagnosed patients, servicing a major stroke center in metro Atlanta. As a full-time Assistant Medical Director, Emory Rehabilitation Hospital, in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, you would be a member of the PM&R service providing care to general physiatry and cancer rehabilitation patients. As the Physical Medicine Specialist, the successful candidate will provide PMR coverage for patients on the inpatient rehab unit, of 10-15 patients. Outpatient coverage for a general physiatry clinic 2 days/ week. Inpatient consultation for EUH and Emory Midtown Hospital 2 days/ week.
