Description The Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) in Dallas, TX invites applications for a full-time tenured/tenure track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We seek applications from individuals with research focus on biodata engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), data science and data curation for medical applications. Highly qualified senior postdoctoral fellows with outstanding publications and extramural research funding may be eligible for UTSW’s prestigious Endowed Scholars program and are strongly encouraged to apply. We are especially interested in candidates who will provide inspirational leadership in research and initiate collaborative opportunities across the medical center. BME faculty work closely with clinical and basic research faculty in the highly collaborative UTSW Medical Center environment translating new technologies into medical solutions.
