Stage Manager - Ryman Auditorium

Job description

- Coordinate and supervise the production of events at the Ryman Auditorium. - Serves as company representative working with clients, artists and partners prior to, during and following events, ensuring excellent service and positive guest impressions. - Professionally and efficiently communicates with both internal teams (Managers & STARS from the Ryman as well as other areas of the company) and external parties (clients, partners, artists, artist representatives, vendors, etc). This will include face-to-face communication, communication via telephone and written communication via email, event resumes, etc. - Works with Technical Services & Operations Teams to coordinate pre-production and advance show details including conducting site visits; setting daily schedules; determining labor needs and making labor calls; negotiating favorable deals with vendors when rental equipment or outside services are needed; providing financial estimates and ensuring that events will remain on budget. - Manages events on day-of-show via communication with appropriate internal and external parties during load in, rehearsals, performances and load out.
