Job description
Perform accurate Polysomnographic testing and adjust sleep disorders treatments as directed by physician, to accurately and effectively diagnose and treat patients with Sleep Disorders. Supervises trainee and PSGT level I technologists. Required Education and Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Sleep Disorders Center. Minimum of two (2) years of college in Allied Health classes OR seven (7) years of patient healthcare experience. Required Credentials: Registered as a Polysomnographic Tech (RPSGT) or (RST) or Registered Respiratory Therapist - Sleep Disorder Specialist (RRT-SDS). Current BLS certification for healthcare providers. Preferred: Associate's Degree in Allied Health Care area. Registry in Respiratory Therapy, or in EEG. At least three (3) years of experience in a Sleep Lab, with one year of experience in a supervisory position in a Sleep Disorders Center. Compensation Range: $45.77 - $74.08 per hour Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
