USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app Under the direction of the Health Sciences Simulation staff this position performs duties in the Health Sciences Simulation Center (HSSC) to support faculty in providing quality simulated learning experiences for students. Duties/Responsibilities: Boot up and shut down simulators, prepare and break down task trainers, simulation rooms and other equipment/props for simulation or skills lab sessions Operate a variety of computers and technical simulation equipment pertaining to simulation scenarios, including virtual reality software and equipment Control simulator software to model simulator’s physiological response to instructor and/or scenario specifications Operate and maintains audio-visual and debriefing systems during simulations Reset rooms in between sessions (restock, replenish supplies as needed) Maintain current knowledge of simulation/lab equipment and operation manuals Clean equipment as needed (manikin, task trainers) Assist in development, and demonstration of instructional best practices for the use of the manikins and equipment to help elevate the simulation experiences of students and faculty Provi...
