Support Officer - Environment Performance & Support Team Salary: £29,253 - £32,736 per annum Grade: C: Fixed Term Contract to September 2027 37 Hours per Week We are seeking a committed individual to join us as a Support Officer. This role is an exciting opportunity to support Thurrock Council’s Support and Performance Team, sitting in the Place Directorate. The main purpose of the role is to support Thurrock Council’s Place service via our Support and Performance Services Department. Main Responsibilities: - To provide support in the provision of services associated with Planning, Building Control and Land Charges, including any legislative requirements. - To process (including scanning, saving and indexing) applications within statutory time limits. (Training will be available). - Undertake registration and processing (including scanning, saving, indexing and linking to software) all applications within a statutory time limit and in compliance with relevant legislation. - To process and monitor post and generic mailboxes. - To respond to requests (by telephone, letter, email and in person) for information in a clear, accurate, polite and prompt fashion. - To keep up to date knowl...
