The preferred schedule is 3 12-hour shifts (7:00am to 7:00pm), but there is some flexibility. Every 3rd weekend rotation. LHMC is seeking an exceptional Vascular Access RN with a minimum of 2 years of experience providing vascular access consultation, working with medical and nursing colleagues in a hospital or procedural setting, and inserting Interosseous Catheters (IOs), peripheral intravenous catheters (PIVC), ultrasound-guided peripheral intravenous catheters (USGIV), midlines and Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICCs – at least 1 year experience). Vascular Access RN will work in a Level-I-Trauma Center on a team of Vascular Access Nurses of varying skill sets, in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, infusion, procedural areas and testing areas.
