Role Overview Genus PLC is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our Biosystems Engineering team, supporting the IntelliGen® Technologies platform. This role is focused on embedded Linux, hardware/software integration, and low-level system development, bridging complex electronics and subsystems into a reliable, high-performance software environment. The successful candidate will work deeply in embedded Linux (Yocto), write and debug device drivers, and integrate hardware components such as FPGAs, sensors, and electromechanical systems into the operating system layer. The successful candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams. We are seeking a forward-thinking individual to help us advance and modernize our technology. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $135,000 USD. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
