Description The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for working with our Superintendents to learn management skills and coordination of all field construction activities during a project, and to complete the work safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the quality and workmanship expected by Buch Construction and our clients. It is the Assistant Superintendent’s responsibility to protect and promote Buch Construction’s interests in all matters and do whatever is reasonably required to fulfill his or her duties and responsibilities. Duties and Responsibilities: The Assistant Superintendent will help the Superintendent conduct all day-to-day operations from the field, and occasionally from the main or satellite offices (i.e. meetings, training, etc.). The goal of an Assistant Superintendent is to learn the following from the Project Superintendent: - Knowing and understanding the inherent risks and hazards of the construction industry. The safety of each and every person on site is of supreme importance.
