Job Title: Registered Nurse, Pre-Op / Post-Op / Operating Room Company: The Eye Institute of West Florida Surgery Center Location: Largo, FL Travel: Travel to our other office in St. Petersburg will be required as needed. We do pay mileage reimbursement! Hours: Requirements: - Part-time - You will typically work 2-3 days per week, usually on Mondays and Wednesdays, plus possibly a third day as needed - Our offices are open Monday-Friday 7am-5pm - You may need to work a little earlier/later as needed - Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required - Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing preferred - Current Registered Nurse (RN) License required in the state where the worksite is located - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred - At least one year of OR experience (Scrub and/or Circulating) is preferred - Favorable result on Background Check SUMMARY: Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation standards and ASC policies and procedures.
