Senior Accountant

Job description

The Senior Accountant will assist with GL focused accounting activities for US Distribution including payroll, balance sheet accruals, rental revenue recognition, and various journal entries & reconciliations. This role will report to the Sr. Accounting Manager and help ensure that US Distribution is in full compliance with all corporate policies. Role Responsibilities: - Responsible for US Distribution payroll activities including journal entries (actuals, accruals, worker’s comp, sick time, etc.), account reconciliations, and communication with the payroll team to resolve issues as needed. - Journal entry and account reconciliation preparation to ensure accurate GL activity including but not limited to SG&A / COS reclass, admin allocations, WIP, GDNI, bad debt, and COSA accruals. Additionally, review and approve journal entries and reconciliations of other team members. - Prepare various key monthly reports required to help ensure accurate financials including the Costed Not Invoiced report.
