Ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the office's standard of care and following office protocol. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Routinely assists provider with patient exams, prepares exam rooms for specific procedures. Accurately maintains appropriate log books and monitors pharmaceutical sample cabinets for expired items. - Maintains patient medical record by verifying patient information upon each visit including: last name, address, insurance information, and guarantor, filing/scanning all documents into the correct patient's medical record and in the proper location, and providing new patients with required registration forms for completion. - Aids in the care of the patient by notifying patients of normal test results, returning patient phone calls, scheduling patients for testing, procedures, and referral appointments in a timely manner. - Coll...
