This position is a 50/50 share between two departments housed in the same office, The Behavior Support Team (BeST) and Children’s Specialty Care. The Behavior Support Team (BeST) provides short-term community-based intervention services throughout King County for families who have a child with development disabilities experiencing behavior challenges. Individualized behavior plans are developed using the Positive Behavior Support model, an evidence-informed practice incorporating principles from behavior therapy, family systems theory, and other counseling modalities. Children’s Specialty Care is a key role within the behavioral health department of MultiCare, responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy for patients in an office setting.
