The Clinical Nurse II utilizes the nursing process as the frame of reference for practice as a professional registered nurse and provides direct nursing care to patients and families in an office-based setting. Training, evaluation and competencies for this role are overseen by a Nurse Leader to the department. This CNII position will support post-procedure follow-up patient calls and management of the Structural Heart Registry, which is a systematic database that collects and tracks clinical information on patients undergoing structural heart disease evaluations and interventions—such as TAVR and MitraClip —to monitor outcomes, ensure quality and safety, support research, and meet national reporting requirements.
