JOB DESCRIPTION: The Opportunity The role of Senior Material Handler is to provide employees and customers with timely, accurate and safe shipping & receiving services. What You'll Work On: Ships products and materials to customers. Interfaces with freight carriers and resolves shipment problems. Prepares Shippers Letter of Instructions (SLI's), Commercial Invoices and Pack Slips for use by Freight Forwarders for International shipments. Receives and processes incoming material in the ERP system. Performs cycle counting, inventory transfers and product transfers between multiple Abbott sites. Processes material released from Quarantine, working closely with QC/QA to ensure proper handling, segregation and control of materials internally and throughout the supply chain.
