HOURS OF WORK: 8 Hour Daily/247 Calendar Days Yearly STATUS: Classified – Non-Exempt, Full Time POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for electrical services repair and replacement requests. This position is expected to install, maintain, repair, and upgrade electrical equipment. This position is part of the maintenance team and reports to the lead electrician. PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyzes blueprints, drawings, and schematics of electrical systems. Coordinates with assigned lead/supervisor and other trades to complete projects efficiently. Documenting activities and conveying information thorough written reports. Estimates equipment and/or materials needed to complete work projects. Fabricates equipment parts meeting specialty needs and replacing unavailable parts. Identifies causes of electrical problems for equipment and system repair. Informs the team regarding procedures, status of work orders, and provides necessary information for making decisions complying with standards and regulations.
