In keeping with this mission, the role of the Women's Basketball Assistant Coach is to assist in providing a quality varsity program that will challenge and develop the physical, mental and personal abilities of student-athletes of a Division I program. Responsibilities: - Reporting to the Head Coach, the assistant coach assists in team and staff preparation necessary to compete at the Division I level including but not limited to:Assist with the planning and execution of all practices. - Assist with technology and data use for player development and strategic decision making. - Assist with scouting reports of opponents. - Assist the coaching staff within the recruitment of top basketball student-athletes of high moral character who demonstrate the desire to excel in academics and athletics. - At the instruction of the recruiting coordinator, attend evaluation sites to assist in identifying talent. - Travel to contests/tournaments to evaluate prospects. - Assist with prospect camp...
