Job description
The Scientist job family is responsible for 1) performing basic scientific analyses and calculations and 2) preparing specifications, reports and data tables 3) maintaining and troubleshooting instrumentation and methods. Under supervision, Scientists maintain project coordination with all other disciplines on an assigned project based on the following classification, grade, and level specific responsibilities: Under direction of the Analytical Manager or Chemistry Supervisor, you may perform technical assignments of various complexities within approved scientific schedules and budgets. May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project. May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned scientific personnel. May supervise a discipline group.
