Job description

Description Nursing Manager Primarily responsible for the management and oversight of professional nursing assessment to determine health needs for individuals enrolled with LIFE Pittsburgh, care plan development and review, and monitoring of nursing interventions. This includes providing direction and evaluation of nursing performance, and adherence to established standards, regulations, policies and procedures to ensure provision of safe, quality care. The Nurse Manager determines staff schedule requirements on a 24 hour coverage basis and works collaboratively with the Center Administrator to facilitate coordination of services. The Nurse Manager also provides center leadership for all members of the team, in the absence of the Center Administrator.
