Job description

Position summary: The WSI pipefitter lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, industrial production and processing systems, applying knowledge of system operation, and following blueprints. Pipefitters will perform all maintenance piping/welding tasks on mobile and stationary support and auxiliary equipment. Pipefitters are knowledgeable of cutting and welding methods, test for structural soundness of piping components and ensures equipment operate safely and efficiently. Educational requirements: - High School Completion or GED is a requirement. - Union Journeyman training, equivalent training or experience - Minimum of 2 years’ experience with automated and traditional manual welding equipment.
