Contracted Student Intern- Commissioner's Office - ( 260003HE ) Description The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking to hire an intern who will support the Commissioner's Office in Central Office Boston. Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive): - Advance strategies to mitigate risks of limited system capacity by improving inpatient discharge processes. - Assist with process mapping and workflow documentation related to inpatient discharge planning and intra-agency coordination. - Support development of standardized tools to facilitate process improvements, such as meeting facilitation guides, tracking templates, and process documentation. - Support re-procurement of DMH’s flagship community behavioral health services - Conduct analysis of client trends to support potential programmatic changes, particularly analysis of client incident rates - Support preparation for, and synthesis of, internal and potentially external stakeholder focus groups regarding program successes and challenges to date Preferred Qualifications: Period of Service: May 26, 2026 through September 04, 2026 - Strong writing and communication skills - Strong q...
