Position Overview: As a senior QA engineer for the ETF Platform, you will work as a senior team member with high technical skills to design, create, maintain and execute initiatives through the SDLC for one of State Street’s growing services. Working closely with a multidisciplinary global team, you will leverage your expertise in software testing to implement cross-functional test frameworks with well-balanced coverage across UI, back-end integration and database levels. What you will be responsible for o Collaborate with product owners to define and drive the overall quality strategy. o Expand coverage with manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests. o Create comprehensive test plans with well defined, reusable test cases from business requirements and functional specifications documents. o Execute software testing to include functional testing, system testing, regression testing, and performance testing. o Record and maintain automated test script libraries for functional regression testing for assigned applications. o Document software defects in an issue tracking system and proactively communicate issues with developers and other project te...
